Heini’s story
I have always been curious about travelling and different cultures. However, I did not necessarily plan an expat life nor expect myself to be living in a different country than Finland, where I am originally from. Nonetheless, I moved to the Netherlands for my studies with the goal to contribute to mental health work in one way or another. Ever since that move, I have been living in the Netherlands and now I am working as an assistant psychologist for Untangled Psychology.
Working in the field of psychology has been my primary goal since high school. Due to my deep interest in understanding individual differences in our behaviour and thinking processes, I have wanted to help people feel better about themselves, especially if they are struggling mentally. That is why I am also currently working towards becoming a clinical psychologist myself.
As an assistant psychologist, I am happy to be the first one to contact you and get to know you. My goal is always to ensure a comfortable, safe, and informed feeling on every step towards your first therapy session with one of my team members.
I am here to answer any questions you have about Untangled Psychology as well as our psychologists and their work. I understand that starting therapy is not always an easy thing to do, but I am here to make it as easy and comfortable as possible for you.
